Since its inception in 2001, the GRL’s mission has been to improve genomic technology utilization and optimize genomic data analysis at The University of Arizona.

To accomplish these goals, members from clinical, biomedical engineering, and computer science departments formed a synergistic research group focused upon disseminating genomic education.

As an important step in this process, members of the Steele Children’s Research Center GRL have provided an environment for U of A investigators to utilize microarray technology under the guidance and direction of GRL staff.
